What changed
On 3 October 2026, Singapore’s HPB updated the Nutri-Grade extension timeline for prepacked salt, sauces, seasonings, instant noodles and cooking oils to 2028, superseding the previously announced mid-2027 timeline.
The Dongwang perspective
This update relates to Dongwang’s condiment and convenience-food sourcing directions. Our interpretation is to revisit preparation timelines, organise nutrition information, packaging plans and formulation questions separately, and continue tracking final requirements.
The revised extension timeline does not change existing beverage measures or suspend other food-labelling requirements. HPB identifies some extension specifications as subject to further procedures; product-level work must refer to the applicable requirements.
