About DDT

Who is DDT / DW28?

DDT (Dongwang International Supply Chain Co., Ltd.) operates DW28, a trade service platform inside Dongwang International Food Wholesale Market in Guangzhou, China. We help international buyers source Chinese food products from 568 verified suppliers, handle quality control, consolidation, customs clearance, and shipping.

What is the difference between DDT and a trading company?

DDT is a trade service platform, not a traditional trading company. We do not buy and resell products. Instead, we source directly from market suppliers on your behalf, provide QC, consolidation, and export services. This means more transparent pricing and direct access to the market's full product range of 3,800+ items.

Can I visit the market in person?

Yes. We welcome buyer visits to Dongwang International Food Market in Guangzhou. We can arrange a guided tour, introduce relevant suppliers, and discuss your sourcing needs face-to-face. Contact us at [email protected] to schedule a visit.

Sourcing Process

How do I start sourcing with DDT?

Send us your product list, destination country, and approximate quantities via email ([email protected]), WhatsApp, or our online sourcing assistant. We respond within 24 hours with a quotation and sourcing plan. Even a rough product list is enough to get started.

What is the minimum order quantity?

For LCL (less-than-container load) shipments, the practical minimum is around 500 kg or 2 CBM. For a full 20GP container, capacity is approximately 20-25 tons. Most first-time buyers start with 2-5 ton trial orders mixing 20-50 SKUs. Per-SKU minimums are typically 1 case (6-24 units).

What payment terms do you accept?

We accept T/T bank transfer (typically 30% deposit and 70% before shipping), Western Union, and L/C for larger orders. All payments are in USD. We issue a Proforma Invoice with a full cost breakdown before payment is due.

Do you provide FOB, CIF, and DDP pricing?

Yes. We offer three pricing tiers: FOB Guangzhou (you arrange shipping), CIF destination port (we arrange ocean freight), and DDP (delivered duty paid — we handle everything including destination customs and delivery). Each quote includes a full cost breakdown with no hidden fees.

1039 Trade & Export

What is 1039 Market Procurement Trade?

1039 is a Chinese trade policy that allows registered wholesale markets to export mixed-category goods from multiple suppliers under one simplified customs declaration. It is ideal for food buyers who need variety across categories without the complexity of general trade export procedures. No individual VAT invoices needed from each supplier. Learn more about 1039 service.

Can I mix different food categories in one container?

Yes. Mixed container sourcing is our core service. You can combine sauces, snacks, noodles, dried goods, canned food, beverages, and more in a single shipment. The 1039 trade policy is specifically designed for mixed-category exports from wholesale markets.

Which countries do you ship to?

We export to 17+ countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Ghana, Russia, Brazil, and more. We handle China-side export documentation and customs clearance for virtually any destination country.

Shipping & Logistics

How long does shipping take?

Ocean freight times from Guangzhou Nansha Port vary by destination: Southeast Asia 5-10 days, Middle East 15-20 days, Africa 20-30 days, Russia 25-35 days, South America 30-40 days. Add 5-8 days for sourcing and consolidation on the China side. Total lead time is typically 15-45 days depending on destination.

Do you handle customs clearance on both ends?

We handle all China-side export customs clearance using the 1039 policy. For destination-side import clearance, we can provide DDP service (we arrange everything) or connect you with trusted customs brokers in your country. FOB and CIF terms leave destination customs to you.

Quality & Certifications

How do you control quality?

All products are inspected at our warehouse before consolidation. We check production dates, expiry dates, packaging integrity, and label accuracy. Photo reports are sent for your approval before shipping. Third-party inspections (SGS, Bureau Veritas) are available on request for additional assurance.

Do you offer Halal-certified products?

Yes. Many suppliers at Dongwang Market carry Halal-certified food products, especially sauces, seasonings, snacks, and instant noodles. We can source specifically Halal-certified items and provide certificate copies for your import clearance in Muslim-majority markets.

What certifications can you provide?

Depending on the product and destination: Halal certificates, ISO 22000/HACCP certificates, FDA registration (for US market), Certificate of Origin (Form E for ACFTA countries, Form F for Chile FTA), CIQ health certificates, and English nutrition labels compliant with destination country requirements.
